ABSTRACT
Small starting companies are among the greatest pioneers of entrepreneurial endeavor in the global economy. They bring innovative products and new approaches to customers, grow rapidly to exponentially, and become global enterprises. A large percentage of these businesses cease to exist prematurely, many of them merely survive, failing to record the form of exponential growth or even to become a player in the global market. Starting companies are an unpredictable entrepreneurial phenomenon that can shine, but can just as quickly cease to exist for a number of reasons. The aim of the present paper is to characterize the knowledge base at the theoretical level about small starting companies that originate from the domestic environment and try to reach the international environment in this attractive entrepreneurial form.
