ABSTRACT
The article discusses the impact of the fashion industry on the environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainable development in the context of the Agenda 2030 and its SDGs (Sustainable development goals). By analysing the content of annual reports of selected fashion retail chains, we assessed their interest in sustainable development topics. As a result of our findings, fashion chains are making efforts in meeting the SDGs and are aware of the need for change in their production and supply processes. The individual goals and keywords that resonated the most with the selected chains were SDG 1 and SDG 17. On the other hand we observed the lowest attention for SDG 9 and SDG 14.
